Working Student (f/m/d) Analysis Meteorology

As part of our team
You will support the data analysis of weather forecasts for temperature, windspeed and solar radiation impacting the energy market
You will contribute to the modelling efforts, which transfer weather data into energy-relevant parameters like demand and wind-/solar-power production
You will help to get data in our database and run services as automatic cluster services in the cloud
You will visualize weather data in Power BI dashboards or other visualization tools
What you provide
You are an enrolled student in natural sciences (meteorology, physics, mathematics, data science) or similar
You have basic training in meteorology. Especially weather forecasting would be a plus
Your programming skills in Python are solid
You have first experience in handling meteorological datasets
Your basic understanding of unit tests, databases, and cloud computing with AWS would be desirable but not required
You are interested in the impact of weather on energy trading related topics.
You are motivated to familiarize yourself with new topics and actively contribute your ideas.
You have good communication skills in English, and you are a good team player
