Working Student (f/d/m) Analysis
Because digital energy trading can't wait any longer: At EWE TRADING GmbH, we handle the energy trading activities of the EWE Group and act as the Group´s interface to the wholesale markets for power, natural gas, emission rights and renewable energy. As part of our team:
- You'll develop and maintain Python code for our data processing and our own models
- You'll work with databases and interfaces (REST, XML, CSV) for analysis and visualization (Excel documents, pivot tables, VBA)
- You'll maintain and improve model code, e.g., by participating in development and test automation (Pytest)
- Based on your work, you'll provide your own initial analysis, depending on the task, and discuss plausibility and implications
What you provide:
- You're currently studying quantitative discipline, e.g., mathematics, physics, computer/data science, (industrial) engineering or a related field
- You have solid Python skills and can solve tasks independently and efficiently
- Initial experience in data analysis, working with databases and REST APIs, as well as in test automation using Python
- You are proficient in standard Office applications
- You work in a conscientious, responsible, and structured manner, with a strong analytical mindset.
- You are interested in both IT and energy trading related topics
- You are motivated to familiarize yourself with new topics and actively contribute your ideas
- You have good knowledge of English and German
