The company operates a high-performance, widely branched telecommunications network with around 50,000 kilometres of fibre optic cables acting as an IP backbone. EWE’s in-house data center is certified according to TÜVIT TSI up to Level 3 (extended) and ISO/IEC 27001 and runs on green electricity. Additionally, a Network Operations Center (NOC) monitors the entire telecommunications network non-stop.
