Each morning, one class participates in the program. The EWE team welcomes students to the school mobile and introduces the project. After this initial introduction, the hands-on work begins. The highlight of the program is working with mobile workshops set up in classrooms. Here, students solder, drill, and assemble their own energy models. In lower secondary school (Grades 7-10), the following key topics can be covered:
- Renewable Energies: Wind / Solar
- Energy Conversion
- Energy Conservation
- CO2 Reduction
Atthe end of the program, various measurements are conducted in the school mobile, including tests in a wind tunnel. Students can assess the performance of their self-built wind turbines and computer anemometers.
For particularly interested students, an optional afternoon program is available after regular classes. In a small working group over two days, they have the opportunity to build a high-tech vehicle – the EWE Buggy – equipped with collision detection, disco mode, and remote control. This offer is specifically designed to support career orientation.
