Charging EVs faster and more easily

How EWE is advancing the transition to sustainable mobility

The speed and extent to which people switch to electric vehicles (EVs) largely depend on the availability of a reliable and user-friendly charging infrastructure. By expanding a dependable and easy-to-use charging network and providing tailored EV charging services, EWE Go is playing a key role in Germany’s transition to sustainable mobility.

Around one-fifth of Germany’s greenhouse gas emissions come from cars, trucks, trains, ships, and airplanes. The most effective way to decarbonize the mobility sector is through climate-neutral electromobility powered by renewable energy. The German government is investing around one billion euros in expanding electromobility nationwide. The EWE Group actively supports the transition to sustainable mobility by expanding the charging infrastructure for EVs and offering services that make charging fast, easy, secure, and cost-effective for everyone.

A reliable, user-friendly, and high-performance charging infrastructure is essential for sustainable mobility. With more than 3,000 charging points, EWE Go is one of the largest charging infrastructure operators in Germany. Its densely connected charging network is continuously being expanded – particularly with fast-charging points. In north-west Germany, EWE Go has already built the largest public charging network for electric vehicles and has established itself as the market leader in the region.
