They are considered a sporting flagship of the Weser-Ems region: the EWE Baskets Oldenburg men's team, which has been playing in the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) since 2000 and has regularly reached the playoffs in recent years.
Since 1999, EWE has been a sponsor of the VfL Oldenburg women's handball team. Together with the club, we have developed a concept that ensures optimal support for professional athletes as well as intensive youth development within the club.
