Energy trading and gas supply for Poland
Climate change is a global challenge – especially when it comes to energy supply. EWE is therefore developing growth markets outside Germany to build climate-friendly, future-proof energy supply systems.
In 1999, EWE became the first foreign gas supplier to be granted access to the Polish market. Ever since, the Group has been building up a modern natural gas network and supply in various rural regions, industrial zones and small towns in West, East and South Poland, providing climate-friendly and comfortable heat supply to households and enterprises outside urban agglomerations. For rural regions the access to natural gas supply means improved quality of life and appeal as a business location.
An outstanding security of supply and modern energy efficiency services differentiate EWE from the competition in Poland.
