The Oldenburg energy supplier presents itself to a specialist audience
EWE Group at the Hanover Trade Fair for the First Time
Oldenburg, April 4, 2007. This year, for the first time, the EWE Group will ap-pear at the Hanover Industry Trade Fair. The Oldenburg based company will present its services to an international audience from April 16-20. The world’s largest industry fair, with more than 6,000 exhibitors, offers the Group a plat-form for making contact with a specialist public and to present its range of ser-vices to partners and customers. EWE has already been represented at the Fair in recent years through its subsidiary BTC Business Technology Consulting AG. This year, BTC will appear on the EWE Group booth. The topics that EWE will present on its own booth (Hall 13, Booth C 30) are under the slogan of “Energy, Vision, Future“. The focus will be on future energy production and energy efficiency, research and development, as well as IT solu-tions for the energy industry. Thus each day will be devoted to a particular fo-cus. On Monday, April 16, in the context of a podium discussion, EWE will present a concept for energy supply of the future: the Bullensee Assumptions. This in-volves a strategy which shows how the challenges of future energy supply can be mastered. Representatives from science and research have been working to-gether with EWE on these theses over the last year. In addition, EWE will be represented on the booth of the German-wide Fuel Cell Initiative (IBZ), in which the company is also involved (Hall 13, Booth E 12/3). The fuel cell is deemed to be a technology of the future, as it, in combination with hydrogen, is in a position to generate efficient and low-emission power and heat. Several thousand visitors are expected again at the Hanover Fair. In previous years, about 155,000 people visited the extensive exhibition area. The partner country this year is Turkey.
