EWE can store over one billion cubic metres of natural gas in Nüttermoor

EWE operates currently 20 natural gas caverns at its Nüttermoor location. EWE already has a long history at this location – EWE put its first caverns into operation here at the start of 1980’s.

The natural gas can be pumped into the caverns under high pressure, so that its total working gas stored in Nüttermoor´s caverns reaches the level of app. 1.2 billion cubic metres.
