BREKOM: the EWE specialist for public authorities and institutions
BREKOM GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of EWE TEL GmbH and specialises in providing innovative IT, telecommunications and building security solutions for corporate clients and public institutions. The company was founded in 1997 and was fully consolidated into the EWE Group in 2002. BREKOM is headquartered in Bremen.BREKOM has a long-term agreement with the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen to operate the entirety of the communications network used by the city’s municipal authorities and institutions. BREKOM provides telephone and data services for the city of Bremen and makes sure that the city’s fire alarms, telecontrol installations and traffic signal systems function smoothly. BREKOM also runs the city’s network of clocks. The company provides a complete range of services, including planning, implementing and operating the city’s facilities. From its Paderborn office, BREKOM provides services to clients in the East Westphalia - Lippe region
