BCC: a corporate client partner with a wide range of services
BCC (Business Communication Company GmbH) joined the ranks of the EWE Group’s ICT business area in July 2007. The company was founded in 1997 and is responsible for planning, implementing and operating communications networks across Germany for corporate clients. The wholly owned subsidiary of EWE TEL is active in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt as well as in its Wolfsburg headquarters.
BCC offers an expansive range of services, from hardware distribution and consulting through to system integration and operating network infrastructures, which comprises monitoring, management and optimisation services. The specialists also provide forward-thinking value-added services such as merging speech and multimedia applications in a shared communications platform. This allows BCC to ensure the continual availability and security of their systems.
In terms of hardware, BCC works closely with the market leader in network technology, Cisco Systems. BCC also collaborates with BTC and EWE TEL.
The technology which BCC counts on to provide its services is its 22,000-kilometre-long fibre optic network, which allows broadband connections of up to 40 Gbit/s. BCC provides individual, integrated and cross-interface ITC solutions on the basis of this network.
BCC is comitted to providing a first-class service: its IT service management revolves around what’s known as the ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library), the internationally recognised framework for defining and operating IT processes. The company has succesfully achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, thus demonstrating its commitment to maintaining the utmost in quality assurance, information security and process reliability.
